RSE SpA is a Research Organisation based in Milano (Italy). Its main mission is to perform public interest R&D programs to address the national energy, environmental and economic goals, with an open view to the EU research initiatives. RSE is mainly financed through a public fund for the national electric system. RSE is currently cooperating in more than 50 international R&I projects and coordinates, as leading partner, more than 120 research centres and companies in the energy sector in Europe. In the field of energy efficiency and CO2 saving, since 2009 RSE is committed by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development to carry-out research projects, aimed at promoting the development and dissemination of energy efficiency strategies and technologies, with specific actions towards policy-makers involved in efficiency policies and qualified technology providers and the end users.
