Energy efficiency is a driver for competitiveness of the Food Industry: EU-MERCI has contributed to overcoming the difficulties that may sometimes arise in relation to the lack of knowledge of the opportunities and tools available, the lack of perception of energy efficiency interventions as priorities.

EU-MERCI has been a good platform to combine different stakeholders and their good practise in field of energy efficiency. This topic however is one of the future goals in solving the world problems.

I think EU MERCI is able to give real added value to energy efficiency development in the industrial sector. The project outputs (good practices database/library, specific reports, etc.) constitute solid references for the Operators to start and deepen specific analysis, fostering and supporting the effective implementation of energy efficiency measures in industries.

I found the project extremely useful and concrete, in particular the EIEEP platform, which allows companies in the main productive sectors to obtain important information in relation to the “Good Practices” available.
I strongly advise all companies to be curious and attentive in relation to the many opportunities that this platform can provide.
